If you need to change your shipping address before your order is shipped please promptly email info@thefurtado.com. We are not able to redirect orders once they are in transit, in this event please contact the carrier and reference your tracking number for any special delivery requests.
Insurance
All orders by default include Route shipping insurance, which is added to your cart at checkout for any extra cost for your order value. This will cover your package against loss, theft, or damage.
Fulfillment
Because most jewelry is handmade to order, we cannot guarantee exact shipping dates. Our regular lead time for made to order pieces is 3-5 weeks from the purchase date. If a piece is marked as in-stock it will ship out within 1-3 business days. Please allow 3 weeks for your in-stock piece to ship if you have requested an engraving. An email notification with your tracking number will be sent to you when your order ships.
Shipping
Our domestic shipping carrier is NACEX (Portugal and Spain).
All shipping fees will be quoted in the shopping cart before finalizing your order. If you notice any delays or issues while tracking your package please contact the carrier for help. We are not able to provide additional insight on packages once they are en route.
Ground shipping transit time is between 1-3 business days. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes. Please also note that due to restrictions around nail polish, these products can only be shipped via UPS Ground, and may not travel via air.
You will be provided with a tracking number and a link when your order is being fulfilled. You can track the status of your order through this link until it is delivered.

Returns and Changes
Most jewelry is handmade to order, so please consider this as you finalize your selection. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify us within 7 days of your order's receipt, via info@thefurtado.com. All returns need to be shipped back to us within 14 business days of receiving the order.
In stock and made to order pieces are eligible for a refund to the original payment method minus the cost of shipping and a 15% restocking fee, or full refunds can be issued in store credit according to the customer's preference. For international orders, return shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
Please allow 3-5 business days after we have received your return for the funds to be reissued to your original payment method.
Some items are not eligible for return, such as rings in small or large sizes, custom pieces, pieces with engraving, and scratched or worn items.
